Serving Teams

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve others. Our volunteer teams offer an opportunity to serve others by using the unique gifts and talents God has placed in you.

Whether you love to smile and welcome others, teach young children, or sing in the choir, we would love for you to join one of our teams! We believe in the potential of each person and empower volunteers to use their talents to the fullest. Serving is also how we build relationships with others and participate in advancing God's kingdom.

Weekend Experience
  • Guest Services

  • The Guest Service team serves to welcome and connect people to life at Celebration. Roles include greeting at front and sanctuary doors, answering questions at the Info Center, and assisting in product sales at the Resource Center. 

  • Ushers (all-males)

  • The Usher team serves to maximize the “in-church” experience and safety of attendees. Roles include greeting, seating, maintaining order, taking up offerings, serving communion and securing the sanctuary, kids classrooms and other important areas of the facility.  The team also serves as a men’s group where men can share, pray, learn and serve one another in our goal of becoming stronger, more mature Christian men. 

  • Parking (all-males)

  • The Parking Team serves to welcome, safely guide and introduce the Celebration Church experience for service attendees.  Roles include parking lot entrance greeter, cross walk guide and parking lot guide.  The Parking Team also supports special events hosted by the church throughout the year. 

  • H.O.S.T.

  • The HOST team exists to provide an environment of excellence in the house of God.  We like to add that special touch to make each of God’s guests feel welcomed into a clean, pleasant environment.  We are the team responsible for spot cleaning, placing sanctuary seat drops, making sure the lights are on, the door are unlocked and the air is flowing. 

  • Worship Team - Band

  • The Worship Team serves to provide the musical elements to the Celebration Worship experience. If you’re a drummer, guitarist, or keyboardist, we have several serving options available for you in our Band. We also audition wind and string instruments due to the need for specialty instruments from time to time. 

  • Service Media

  • The Media team serves to integrate creative elements and enhance the service experience at Celebration Church. Roles include camera operator, camera shading, producer and computer operator. Some skills required but training will also be provided.

  • Cafe

  • The Café Barista Service team serves to enhance the Celebration Church experience by providing our guests the opportunity to buy gourmet coffee drinks and pastries before, during, and after Sunday services. Café roles include taking orders as cashier and preparing specialty coffee drinks. 

  • Worship Team - Vocals

  • The Worship Team serves to enable people to experience the presence of God by creating a God centered worship atmosphere. The Vocal Team participates in all weekend services across all campuses. Regular auditions are held throughout the year.

  • Hospitality Team

  • This team serves to provide food and other hosting elements for special church gatherings, events and weekend services. If you enjoy cooking or hosting for others, this team is for you.

Children
  • Celebration Kids (ages 5-10 years)

  • Celebration Kids’ desire is to help children gain a biblical foundation in a fun, creative and safe environment. We want to partner with parents to train their children to live a God-first life from an early age.  At Celebration Kids, they have a great time with high energy music, bible lessons, object lessons, skits and through small groups that teach children of God’s love. Roles include service coordinator, small group leader, team member, and service media. 

  • Nursery/Preschool (ages 0-5 years)

  • The Nursery/Preschool team provides a safe and loving environment for children ages birth – 5 yrs old. Team members provide care for children within the classroom during adult services. Roles include care and love for Infants/Toddlers or assisting with teaching basic Bible concepts to preschoolers.

Students
  • FUSE (Middle/High School and College)

  • FUSE encompasses middle/high school and college-aged students. FUSE team members serve as group leaders and other service roles including guest services, set up/break down and audio/lighting/media.

Pastoral Care
  • Care Team

  • The primary focus of the Care Team is to serve as an extension of the pastoral team in hospital visits, home visits, bereavement, meals, nursing home visits and encouragement after weekend services. Team goal is to help every member of Celebration Church feel loved and cared for when they are in need. Care Team is also involved with Celebration Church Extension Gatherings.

Campus Support
  • Administrative

  • The Administrative team assists our offices with a variety of tasks like organizing and preparing materials for services and special events.

  • Facilities

  • The Facilities Team supports the campus building, infrastructure, and special projects needs. Team responsibilities include moving objects, cleaning, repairs, light construction, stage decor, and special event projects. 

  • Road Crew

  • The Road Crew team serves to connect and direct people to the campus location.  Roles include transporting all necessary equipment with provided truck and trailer as well as placing signs on surrounding roads in order to help people find the location of the campus.

Technical/Skilled
  • Audio

  • The Audio Team serves by enabling congregants to experience God’s presence by providing quality, distraction free audio services. 

  • Lighting

  • The Lighting team serves to help create an environment within Celebration services that promote experiencing God. Roles include light console operation/programming for various ministries and services, technical assistance and fixture maintenance.

  • Photography

  • Help capture the life at Celebration Church through pictures.
